Hello! My name is Cynthia Johnston and this is my second year at Zion Christian School. I love teaching here. I look forward to seeing you and your children this year.
I love the Lord and I love teaching. I am currently going to TVCC in the evenings. I love reading and working with children. I was born in Caldwell, Id and was raised outside of Middleton, Id. I currently live in Nampa, where I share a triplex with my Mom, Dad, two girls, and my sister's family. We have many animals: dogs, cats, birds, and a bunny.
I have three daughters. Brittney is the oldest. She and her hushand live in Caldwell with my wonderful Granddaughter, Lexi. Amy and Megan live with me and go to West Middle School.
I look forward to seeing where the Lord is leading as we start this new year.

Our theme this Month will be Jesus Heals and Easter. Our virtue of the Month is becoming a Good Citizen.
We are starting collecting things for our basket for the auction this year. We are doing a kitchen/bakers basket. Please bring in cookbooks, baking pans, oven-mitts, aprons, cookie cutters, and whatever else you can think of to go with our theme. If you cannot think of anything, I can collect money, say $5.00 and go shopping for it. Our project this year will be a wind chime-I’ll have more information later.
March 7-12 National Lutheran School Week—celebrates our school week—Theme is Serving God My Whole Life Long.
Sunday 7, please come to Zion Lutheran Church to hear your children sing. Meet at 10:15 downstairs in the church.
Monday, March 8: Spirit Day. Dress in School Color! (blue and gold) Paint your faces! Have crazy Hair! Special Chapel speaker!
Wednesday, March 10: Preschool Jump Rope for Heart-9:30am Talent show in PM.
Friday, March 12: Parent Appreciation Breakfast. Please come and enjoy!
Our bible verses this month are: “Teach me YOUR way, O Lord”. Pslam 27:11. “Blessed . . . are those who hear the word of God.” Luke 11:28. “Praise the Lord.” Psalm 148:1. “Love the Lord!” Psalm 31:23. “Jesus is alive!” Refer to Revelation 1:18. Please keep practicing these at home.
Wow, is it really only three months until summer? Where did the time go! I have so enjoyed working with each child this year. They have grown so much physically and spiritually. I know you have seen this at home as well. Please encourage them in their learning by asking them about their papers, the bible stories they hear, and the art work they bring home. You are all in my prayers. Thank you for a wonderful year!
