Sing praises to God, sing praises. Psalm 47:6
Twenty-eighth week of kindergarten –March 15th – March 18th
What an exciting week we had last week. We enjoyed chapel with Mayor Dale. He was very interesting and kept the kid’s attentive. The talent show was a blast. There were a lot of great talents. Jump Rope for Heart was a huge success. Remember to turn in any money your child raised for the American Heart Society. Singing at Streamside assisted living was awesome! The residents were so welcoming and happy to see the children and to hear them sing. We want to go again in before the end of the school year. Make sure to read the announcements on the back

-Auction- All of you should be aware that the Auction is May 8th. PTF has been working hard on getting everything together for the auction, which is a yearly fundraiser to offset tuition for each student. The auction affects everyone at Zion. Each class is asked to donate a class project and a class basket to be auctioned off. Our class project is a quilt that was made at the beginning of the year. Each student drew a picture on the square. If you have not seen the quilt yet, it is in the classroom. Our class has decided to donate a gardening basket. We ask that each family either bring in items for the basket or money for purchasing items. Item ideas for the basket are- seed packets, a large pot to put the items in, gardening tools, how to garden book, soil bag, etc. In order to avoid repeat items please check with me to find out what items have been brought in or claimed by another parent.
- Class pictures and kindergarten graduation pictures next week
- Giving Tree- K-6th grade teachers have a giving tree located in the gym. Teachers will put apples on the tree with classroom needs. Some might be items or work that needs to be done for the class- example- cutting, tracing, or getting craft projects together.
